This module allows you to develop coffee knowledge and practical skills to get you started in your barista career.

Length:
1 day. Course starts at 09:30 and ends 16:30.

SCA certification fee:

€60 for both SCA members and non-members (optional)

Course Summary:
Grinder calibration and dosing.
Foundations of espresso brewing.

Flavour differences between Arabica & Robusta.
Basic milk texturing.
Basic daily care of equipment.

Certification & Learner Numbers:
3 short practical tests and a written exam (15 questions with a pass rate of 60% required).
Testing is incorporated into the course time.
